Bro. Tony Phillips, Acacia Fraternity International Treasurer and an alumni of the Carleton Chapter visited the Syracuse Chapter the weekend of November 20/21. He met with the Chapter Advisory Team, attended all of our initiations activities, met with Chapter Advisers and senior officers, presented the Order of Pythagoras to Bro. Charles Cutshall, III, brought greetings from Nationals to our Thanksgiving celebrations, and greatly aided in the service of the Thanksgiving Dinner.
 
CENTENNIAL UPDATE: The Committee is making great progress planning our centennial celebrations, tentatively scheduled for May 2011. In order to receive your input Little Sister Mary Howe, Chair of the Centennial Committee, will be sending you a questionnaire in mid-January. Bro. Charles Cutshall, III, shown, above received the Order of Pythagoras, Acacia's second highest award of outstanding service to the Fraternity on November 22. Bro. Cutshall is a past Senior & Junior Dean, past Chapter Advisor and is currently House Corp. Secretary and Washington DC Area Alumni Coordinator.
 
Initiation and Thanksgiving - During the weekend of November 21-22, nine good men were initiated into our brotherhood and a brotherhood Thanksgiving was held at the The Liverpool Masonic Lodge.

Bro. Lai and Tony Nguyen preparing sandwiches for Initiation Day lunch. Both were awarded with the Order of the Acacia Apron for their efforts in planning, procuring supplies, and preparing breakfast, lunch, and Thanksgiving Dinner/Initiation Banquet for the Chapter on Sunday, Nov. 22. A dozen alumni joined with the actives in initiating the neophytes and in celebrating Thanksgiving at the Liverpool Masonic Lodge.
